The choreographer and dancer Örjan Andersson has emerged as one of the most talented Swedish choreographers over the last few years, and has taken his first steps onto the larger stages in Sweden and abroad. He and his light designer Jens Sethzman are at the Göteborg Opera for the first time and they will stage a life affirming ballet, inspired by the ethereal secrets of a summer’s night.

Quartet # 10 was created for the Nederlands Dance Theatre and was performed for the first time 21 March 2003. However, it is the first time Örjan choreographs Les Noces, this free-flowing musical theatre with dancers and musicians as well as choir and soloist singers.
