Romeo & Juliet
Martino Müller’s full-length ballet from 2001 was one of the Göteborg Opera’s most crowd-pleasing productions, and many have eagerly awaited its return. Eduard Herman’s suggestive scenery with its large, rust coloured art pieces creates an imaginative backdrop for the choreographer’s captivating ballet drama about Shakespeare’s eternal lovers.
A euphoric press wrote:
“A real hit… an eagerly awaited evening worthy of a large audience.” GP
“The Göteborg Ballet goes from strength to strength.” SvD
