Dance. Eight of the most promising young dancers in Sweden do an all-evening performance on the Small Stage.








The Göteborg Opera seasonal student dance company NUDANS is back on the Small Stage. Eight graduating students from Sweden’s professional dance programme dance in a new production created by three choreographers fromThe Göteborg Ballet.

Choreographers Anandi Vinken, Hokuto Kodama and Moritz Ostruschnjak have based the work on the theme of migration and the search for a place to call home. Jérôme Delbey has designed the costumes and part of the lighting (together with lighting designer Joakim Brink), while Rayco Cano Cortes has served as artistic coordinator and mentor.

The NUDANS concept is part of The Göteborg Opera investment in By Young for the Young, where both producers and performance artists are promising stars. The dance students participate in The Göteborg Ballet daily training for six weeks and also rehearse for their own production. They are given continuous coaching by artistic coordinator Rayco Cano Cortes from The Göteborg Ballet.
