Saigon 1975. The last minutes of the Vietnam war. The Vietcong is marching towards victory. The helicopters take off from the American Embassy, toward safety. But there is not room for everyone. In the confusion friends are separated and families split up. The American soldier Chris flies back to the other side of the world and his beloved, the Vietnamese girl Kim, is forced to stay behind. A short time of happiness turns into a long time of despair, poverty and searching for each other. Will she be able to give their child a future? Will she be reunited with Chris?

Since it first opened in London 1989, Miss Saigon has been performed in fourteen countries, in eight different languages, for nearly 30 million people. During its victory tour around the world it has won around 30 prestigious awards, many for best musical.
