Impressionism
The Ballet Director Kevin Irving wants to create a performance inspired by artists like Manet with music by composers like Debussy, Dukas and Ravel, where the music is interwoven with the impressionistic era.
Two well established choreographers, Nacho Duato and Meryl Tankard, present two of their works that have already been performed for large audiences on several major stages. Nacho Duato’s Duende was even performed at the Göteborg Opera three years ago. The third choreographer, Jo Kanamori, is a new and rising star, who will create a new work for the Göteborg Ballet.
