Concert. Meet The Göteborg Opera musicians and singers in an unusual, congenial setting.

On three Saturdays in the autumn and four in the spring, a concert will be held in The Göteborg Opera foyer, overlooking the river. Here in this unusual, congenial setting, you will be able to meet The Göteborg Opera musicians and singers. The Foyer Concerts accommodate the majority of arias, instrumental pieces and personally selected favourites. This season's last foyer concert is included in the HBTQ festival/Westpride.

The Foyer Concerts start at 12.30 pm.
The Göteborg Opera Café opens at 10.30 am.

Music for violin and piano with Göran Österberg, Karin Johnsson and Flöjtklanger (Flute Sounds) with the flute section from The Göteborg Opera Orchestra.

Free admission - limited number of seats available.

European opera days

This Foyer Concert is a part of European Opera Days. For the eighth year in a row, opera houses throughout Europe are holding an "open house", welcoming everyone to (re)discover the art of opera. This year 90 opera houses and companies in 23 countries will be participating. At the Göteborg Opera we are celebrating 10 May with open house events all day.
