Falstaff 2006
An opera in three acts by Giuseppe Verdi (1813 – 1901) Libretto Arrigo Boito The scene is England during the later part of the 1500´s. The dissolute, retired nobleman, Falstaff, sends identical love letters to the Mistress Ford and Meg Page. His plans, however, are soon uncovered and throughout the course of an action-filled day he and others are led a fine dance by the merry wives of Windsor. This is a revival of last seasons success.
