Dance. Winter’s publicly acclaimed, great family success Cinderella will return when the longer nights draw in.
A ballet in two acts by Didy Velman.
The Dutch choreographer, Didy Veldman, has created a humorous, dramatic and energetic version of the Russian composer, Sergej Prokofjev’s Cinderella.

The dancers appear in the costumes and wigs created by Johanna Mårtensson like cartoon characters. She blends the classically beautiful with the humorous. The set by Miriam Buether is made out of boxes faced with mirrors that create lustre amongst the bright array of pastel colours and many props.
Brilliantly colourful entertainment” wrote Dagens Nyheter, and “Didy Veldman and her team sprinkle freely with fancy twists and curls” wrote Göteborgs-Posten after the première.
