Enthusiastic cheering met this third part of the Göteborg Opera’s trilogy of comical Rossini operas directed by David Radok. It is therefore with great pleasure we can brighten up the spring with six new performances with the original cast from 2003.

The other two productions, Il viaggio a Reims and Il Barbieri di Siviglia, has already been invited to play outside of Sweden. The first has been staged in Prague as well as on different Danish stages, and the second is part of the festival in Aix-en-Provence in the summer of 2005. This production of La Cenerentola has also been invited to play in Copenhagen.
