Our aim is for the Göteborg Opera to be accessible to all. Please let us know when you make your booking if you have any special needs.

Once you have arrived you can talk to our hosts in the foyer. Daniel Olmarker is one of the hosts and is often there to assist you. He is proud of how knowledgeable the hosts are. “We know what mobility aids are available and how they function. All you need to do is ask,” he says. “What's more, we're all trained in CPR. And at each performance we always have at least one person present who knows how to use the defibrillator.”

Specific places for wheelchair users are available in the stalls, row 22. These places are most easily booked via the Göteborg Opera ticket office.
Special IR hearing aids can be borrowed from our hosts and hostesses. If the performance is held in a language other than Swedish a caption stand is used.
Some performances also have a sign language interpreter. Tell us what you want to know and we will inform you of what is currently available.
I wish to know more and to test the accessibility right away.
